Sunday 26 May - Spring Blitz Day 5

Conditions were pretty calm out there today, meaning the birds were not flying as much as they do when it's breezy, but also making it easier to see far and spot birds on the water. We did a lot of that out there today and were able to finally get good looks at all of our target species! We were also lucky to see some charismatic megafauna - coincidentally easier to spot when conditions are calm.
